Jr. Video Editor (Contract-to-Hire)
Remote | Reports to Manager, Audience Growth Strategy

We’re looking for a creative and comedic Jr. Video Editor to join Collab’s team. In this role, you’ll help us produce entertaining short-form videos for YouTube, including reaction content, compilations, and meme-style edits that keep audiences engaged and coming back for more. This is a contract-to-hire role: after six months of strong performance, you’ll be eligible to convert to a full-time, benefits-eligible position.

What You’ll Do

Core Job Responsibilities:

- Use videos from our Creators’ YouTube or TikTok to create compilation-style short-form videos for YouTube

- Edit simple, clean compilations in Adobe Premiere (or your editing software of choice)

- Cut together reaction content with viral clips

- Apply meme-style editing: humor, comedic timing, trending sound effects, and seamless transitions to make videos highly engaging and shareable

- Keep everything organized in internal shared docs

Additional Job Responsibilities:

- Upload edited videos to YouTube and optimize titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails

- Schedule content so channels stay consistent

- Help brainstorm fun categories and themes that match each creator’s personality and vibe

- Other duties, as needed

Who You Are

We’ve found the following to be most important for success in this role:

- Meme editing skills and extensive knowledge of trending internet culture (essential for this role)

- Creative, with a strong sense of humor and comedic timing

- Highly motivated and organized

- Comfortable juggling many clips and repetitive tasks

- Strong attention to detail

- Passionate about YouTube, TikTok, and short-form video

- Strong familiarity with digital platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Snap, Facebook, etc.

Bonus Points

Not required, but nice to have:

- Basic Photoshop skills (for thumbnails)

- Experience with YouTube channel management: scheduling, analytics, optimization

- Interest in social content strategy and what makes videos perform

Approximate Starting Monthly Salary: ₱30,000 – ₱35,000 depending on experience + Performance Incentives
