YouTube Content & Partnerships Intern (Summer 2026)
Get inside the creator economy. Work with a YouTube partner on content, licensing, and partnerships, and see how creators grow, protect, and monetize their content.
At Collab, we believe independent video creators are the future of entertainment and should be able to make a living doing what they love.
We’re an official YouTube partner building technology and services that help creators grow their audiences, protect their content, and generate meaningful revenue. Since 2012, Collab has paid out hundreds of millions of dollars to creators and continues to shape how the creator economy works behind the scenes.
The Role
This internship supports our Content, Licensing, and Partnerships efforts, where a high volume of detail-oriented work powers a small, expert team.
You won’t be doing busy work. You’ll work directly with people managing creator rights, content protection, and partnerships at scale, and get a real look at how YouTube operates behind the scenes.
This is a great role for someone interested in media, YouTube, or the creator economy, and who wants hands-on experience inside a fast-moving, high-impact team.
What You’ll Do
Organize and maintain strike lists, helping resolve open items and move data into a CRM for the licensing team
Respond to “more info needed” requests and track YouTube counter notifications tied to content enforcement
Support promotional video detail sheets used across partner channels
Research and identify potential promo partners and YouTube channels
Help organize content for partners and track performance across channels
Jump into additional projects that support the team’s day-to-day work
What You’ll Gain
Direct exposure to how content licensing and enforcement works on YouTube
Mentorship from a team with deep experience in the creator economy
A behind-the-scenes look at how content is protected, monetized, and managed across YouTube
Real ownership over projects that contribute to live workflows
What We’re Looking For
People who show up with initiative, take pride in the details, and are ready to jump in.
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized and reliable
Able to work independently after initial direction
Clear, responsive communicator
Comfortable with Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Slack
